How are you doing? I felt like I was on a long holiday because of the political scenario in Bangalore. Long holiday sitting inside the house, though. But this was not the kinda holiday I liked. It was a curfew and I had nothing but mixed feelings about everything happening around and was just hoping there would be a resolution to this.
Anyhoo, we all know how ethnic wear is a huge part of our lives considering the number of festivals we celebrate in a year and even otherwise. 😛 It’s not like festivals are always interrelated to ethnic wear but you can’t deny the fact that going ethnic on the day of a festival actually makes you feel like you celebrated it. Yes, it also involves going shopping for clothes etc
Today, I have listed three Anarkali Suits that have you covered for any occasion – be it a festival or just another day to work/college. 🙂 I have selected these three anarkali suits from BIBA just to give you an idea about what are the basic anarkali suits that one should own –
Straight Cut Anarkali Suit
These type of anarkali suits work well for college/ work. Straight Cut anarkali suits are not too OTT which makes it easier to wear to a workplace/college. This anarkali suit here is something I liked for that beautiful neckline it has as well as the front slit. This particular anarkali suit has been created by Rohit Bal for BIBA and the contrasting pattern with rose gold hints is wonderful. Instead of leggings, pairing it with a palazzos makes you look smart and chic.
Semi-formal Anarkali Suit
Go for printed leggings with monochrome anarkali suits on days you decide to just go meet a friend or relative. Adding a contrasting dupatta helps bring out the colours. These kind of anarkali suits are best when you want to make a statement with a particular accessory like maybe the dupatta, a clutch you’re carrying or maybe just to bring out the colours in your outfit.
OTT Anarkali Suit
We all need anarkali suits that are a little OTT for festivities and special occasions. We need that bling, a little swirl and lots of drama in these anarkali suits. By drama, yes I mean you twirling around in your anarkali suit to get that slow motion video which you’ll post on Instagram, the very next day. Never done that ever? I won’t judge you. I’ll just think you’re sane and not social media frenzy like me. 😀
So this is my compilation of three types of anarkali suits that have you covered for any occasion!
