It’s rightly said, where there is Tea, there is love!
Tea, especially green tea, is often said to be good for your health. Polyphenols – chemicals present in tea – play a key role in promoting your well-being. The fermentation process used to make green tea boosts its levels of polyphenols.
They behave as antioxidants which neutralize chemicals called oxidants in your blood. Elevated levels of oxidants can cause harm by attacking artery walls and contributing to cardiovascular disease.
Research suggests that tea drinking might be associated with lower risk of cardiovascular disease, of diabetes and stroke. They also help lower blood pressure or improve cholesterol.
I find that, in recent times, Typhoo – an iconic British brand with over 110 years of heritage – has really been working towards creating caffeine free and zero sugar tea infusions.
They have grown their portfolio in order to offer an array of premium teas and infusions – which now includes an entire green tea range with 7 different variants – Green Tea Plain, Green Tea Lemon & Honey, Green Tea Traditional Tulsi, Green Tea Jasmine, Green Tea Moroccan Mint, Green Tea Lemongrass and Green Tea Masala. They offer infusions that are 100% caffeine free.
Besides having a fresh and authentic taste – Typhoo ensures that the teas are packed in a state of the art production facility. This extensive collection of healthy beverages can be enjoyed in both hot and cold form. They’re very convenient and easy to make.
Of this product range, I have found the ‘Green Tea Lemon Grass’ to be most refreshing. This can be consumed with sugar or honey as an additive. Lemon Grass stalks can be used to further flavour the tea. They blend very easily. I found it to be very aromatic and light to drink.
If you are interested in this product – it can very easily be found on Amazon or any retail store. It comes at an MRP of 210. One container holds 25 tea bags. This well packaged product proves to be easy to carry to the workplace for a good cuppa in the middle of a difficult day.
They are, however, best consumed without milk. A milk tea drinker might not find this range most enjoyable. Typhoo does however offer Black tea, Flavoured Tea, Organic Herbal Infusion and Fruit Infusions as well. These products would be more suited to the milk tea drinker’s palette. If you however prefer Green Tea like me – this tea infusion shouldn’t be missed!

I went for the Tea Tasting of typhoo, and I loved their orange infusion, Their teas have great variety and amazing aroma.

Yesss. It’s the perfect thing to drink at work. I absolutely love lemon tea.
These are available at my workplace in the pantry, but so far I’ve been ignoring them to go straight for the coffee. But you made them sound so lovely, I’ll definitely give them a try 🙂
