Hello there!
Hope you guys are doing good 🙂 As you must’ve already read, today’s post is all about never bidding adieu to summers! It’s dedicated to all those ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the machas and the machis who love summer clothes and cannot stop wearing them throughout the year irrespective of summers, winters, spring or fall. Let’s just remember that we are talking about Indian climate here and not people living in Middle East or people from the West unless you would want to risk wearing such clothes in heavy winters. 😛
Vibrant colours and comfortably chic is what defines summers for me. That instantly reminds me of casuals. But not every day can we sport a denim and tee. As much as I love casuals, I love to experiment with them to create different looks and add a dust of “chic” to it. 🙂 Today’s outfits revolve around just that – my love for comfortable clothing. And what better way to express that than this collaboration with Lee Cooper!
For the first look, I styled distressed/ripped blue denims with a vibrant floral tie-knot top. I instantly fell in love with these denims. It’s comfortable, sartorial and doesn’t crease in weird places 😀 Also, it SCREAMS street style- thanks to those denim rips. LOVE! The top is again an experiment I’ve never tried before so let me know if you liked it. I didn’t opt for jewellery for this look because I like to keep casuals simple and minimal without much accessorizing. So just threw in a handcuff and a pair of double-pearl earrings. Completed the whole look with a pair of tan loafers, sling bag and I was good to go! 🙂
The second look is a denim-style playsuit.
Chambray looks denims and what really got me into wearing this is how FREAKING comfortable it feels. I was not wrong about that at all. 🙂 I have always been a fan of jumpsuits and playsuits so I absolutely loved styling this one. A belt wasn’t necessary as it has a cinched waistline already!
I haven’t accessorized much if you notice, just a big dial watch and a clutch from designer Devina Juneja’s Suede that has caught my muse lately. You can also style the playsuit with a tote and switch to a day look if you have errands to run! 🙂 Finished off the entire look with a pair of bling white flats. One advantage of owning a playsuit is you can dress it down with flats or amp it up with a pair of ski-high heels or stilettos. Experiment as much as you like with playsuits and the result will always be fruitful.
