Hiiii everyone 🙂
How are you guys doing? I’m so sorry that I’ve been missing in action for the last few weeks! 🙁 I was ill and I still am but I feel much better today. 🙂 So as promised in my Bluestone #BlueBookFever post, I’m here to show how I styled Bluestone’s Peacock Collection! And what better occasion than Diwali, right? 🙂
I might be a Christian but that doesn’t stop me from celebrating Diwali because there are a lot of childhood memories that I am constantly reminded of when it comes to Diwali. I know I haven’t done an ethnic post on the blog until now so decided this would be the best time to show my love for Indian wear.
Peacock collection – I’m sure the collection needs no introduction as I’ve been raving about them in the last post already and here’s how I styled my Royal Feather Pendant and earrings from the Peacock Collection!
You already know how I emphasize on comfortable clothing always. I did just that with this outfit! Diwali is all about traditions and rituals which also means you’ll be on your toes the entire day 😛 So keeping that in mind, I styled a breathable white cotton kurti with a royal blue skirt that I instantly fell in love with ♥
A skirt need not be styled just with crop tops or blouses always, kurti is a very stylish option if you’re planning to wear to work or at home for festivities. Even a kurti need not be styled with leggings or patiala, give it a twist and add skirts in different patterns! 🙂
Bluestone Peacock collection complimented my outfit perfectly with it’s blue tones 😀 I stacked up some bangles and went out of my comfort zone and sported a huge blue bindi 😛 I just side braided my hair to keep them off my face.
What I absolutely loved about styling this outfit with Bluestone Peacock collection is I wanted to show how the set can be used in multiple ways. What I styled as a pendant above can also be used as a Maang Tika ( or a headgear) like in the pictures below. Making the most of what you already have! 🙂
I hope you could learn something new from this styling post I did for Diwali and don’t forget me to let me know if you give it a try! ♥
Until next time,
Ciao. ♥
