Hi everyone 🙂
How was your week so far? For me, although it did start with Monday blues, it turned out to be a happy start, thanks to the rain Gods that decided to be kind to Bangalore 😀
I’m sure you must have already seen on our Instagram that we received the Chloé EDT recently. If you have already read my post on quarter-life crisis, you know that I love trying perfumes/EDT for a reason. Before I start with my review, here’s a little introduction on Chloé:
Chloé is a French luxury fashion house founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion. Aghion later joined forces with Jacques Lenoir in 1953, formally managing the business side of the brand, allowing Aghion to purely pursue the creative growth of Chloé.
Chloé’s collections involve the following:
- Ready-To-Wear
- Accessories
- Children’s Wear
- Fragrance
Product Name: Chastity for Women by Rasasi Eau De Parfum
Product Price: INR 5300 for 50 ml, INR 6700 for 75 ml
Availability: It is available on Nykaa here
Product Description by Chloé:
Fresh and delicate, the Maison’s Eau de Toilette version of its signature fragrance exudes a powdery white rose bouquet offset by heady magnolia notes. The complex floral composition reveals a unique blend of vibrant youth and classic femininity.
Enclosed in a modern, delicately pleated bottle adorned with a hand-tied ribbon, the timeless fragrance is sure to beguile all Chloé girls.
My take on Chloé EDT
Packaging: Chloé comes in a cute clear case bottle shaped in the form of a rectangle with a pale white ribbon delicately tied on the neck of the bottle. I am a sucker for cute packaging when it comes to fragrances so this really did make me weak in the knees.
Fragrance: I LOVE floral notes so I did expect to fall in love with this. It has top notes of Bergamot and Magnolia which lingers on with notes of white roses and settles down to a musky fragrance.
Results: I can’t stop using this fragrance. The longevity of the fragrance is quite good – almost 6 to 7 hours but what I really like is the sillage. It lingers in a room you’re in for a very long time. This is a fragrance I would wear for a date night with Mr. Jeromy or during summers for a brunch date with my girls. The fragrance is light and so refreshing that it keeps you feeling fresh the entire day 🙂
Chloe EDT has definitely made it to my list of favourite fragrances that I would repurchase!
Pros of Chloé EDT:
- Longetivity
- Cute packaging that can be great for gifting
- Fresh and delicate fragrance for summers
- Sillage that lasts longer
Cons of Chloé EDT:
- None for me. However, a few may find it expensive but all fragrances fall within INR 5000 – 6000 range so investing in a fragrance that is a classic would be just fine.
