I absolutely love hair tools that do the most for the buck and I’ve tried many tools over the years, the high end ones and the budget ones. When there’s a new hair tool, I want to know how it does on my straight hair. This is why I’m excited to share my experience on the Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret.
I’ve had the Conair Infiniti Pro Curl secret for a few weeks now and here’s my review on it.

Packaging
Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret has an ergonmic design with ceramic-coated 3/4″ barrel that glides through the hair for heating. It is slim, lightweight and has gold accents on the controls.
This product can heat up to 210°C (410°F) and has 5 heat settings for different hair types. There are 3 curl directions based on how you want the curls to last – left, right and auto. The transparent barrel cover can be removed for easy cleaning. There are 3 curl types to choose from – loose, wavy and defined that you can choose from.
Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret has dual voltage so it can be used worldwide (what a game changer). It is an auto curler so you don’t have to do the work – the tool does that for you.

How to Use
It’s recommended that your hair is clean and completely dry before using Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret so do not use this on wet/semi-wet hair. Comb through to remove any tangles and divide hair into sections. Go in 1 inch sections (the smaller the section, the tighter the curls). Use a light heat protectant before styling.
- Select the desired temperature, curl type and curl direction settings. (Fig 1 below)
- Hold the styler vertically/upright with the short slot opening facing towards head. (Fig 2)
- Place a section of hair in the opening at the top of the unit making sure that all the hair is placed inside the top of the split barrel.
- Guide the remaining section of the strand of hair down the long slot until it’s below the symbol and gently hold in place to ensure proper position for curling. (Fig 3)
- Press the START button and watch the magic happen as your hair gently wraps around the barrel.
- Hold the curler in place until you hear the rapid beeps.
- Pull the curler down and away to reveal the curl. (Fig 4)
- Use light hair spray to set the curls and maximize curl longevity

If you’re thinking of any higher end hair tools, trust me when I say this, this one is better. I have a higher end hair tool (Dyson, YES) and that doesn’t hold curls as good as this so this price point is really good for an automatic curler.

My experience with Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret
I’ve been using Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret for a few weeks now and here’s why I love it and prefer this over my Dyson Air Wrap for curls. (THERE, I SAID IT!)
Let me start by sharing what my hair type is – I have straight hair with a lot of volume so it’s always a hassle finding hair tools that hold the curls. My Dyson Airwrap doesn’t work for curls on my hair and I only like it for a good blow out. I also have to preface this by saying that the below results were when I had clean, fully dry hair and had no styling products on my hair. I’m sure with the right styling products, it can last even longer.
Efficiency and Ease of Use
I am someone who needs hair tools that are easy to use and requires the LEAST amount of time to use. I have thick hair and if I use any curling tool out there, it will take all day for me to get it right manually curling each section. Let’s not even talk about how my hands will hurt from trying to curl my hair because I really have no patience for it. Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret is an automatic hair curler so it does the work for you.
You just need to select the curl type, curl direction and take the section of hair inside the barrel and it curls it with an auto off feature that tells you when it’s time to remove your hair from the barrel. I curled my hair in less than 5 minutes and I LOVE it for that.
Travel Friendly
The fact that you can use this worldwide is a game changer for me. Dyson works for just North America so that’s not really functional.
Curls and Results
I tried the defined curl type option on the Conair Curl Secret thinking that it might work best for my straight hair and that it would last at least a few days. But I got the most tight curls on this one and it lasted me more than a week. WHAT! (that too when I’d brush my hair everyday). Usually, brushing my hair loosens up the curls and other hair tools don’t really last that long for me. (the most it has lasted is 3 days)
I think I could easily do the loose/wavy curl type option on the Conair Infinito Pro Curl Secret had and that would work fine too on my hair for the week and give me a blowout style loose curls.
Better than the Dyson Air Wrap, in my opinion.
Pros of Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret
- Automatic curler so manual curling required
- Variety of options for curl type and curl directions
- Different heat temperatures to choose from based on your hair type
- Travel friendly – Dual Voltage so that it can be used worldwide (GAME CHANGER for me)
- Creates the most voluminous curls that lasts for more than a week
- Auto off feature so you don’t have to guess when to stop
Cons of Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret
- Some might find the price point a little higher but it’s 10 times better than the Dyson so spending that $110 CAD on it is worth it. It is also usually on sale on Amazon so you can get it for lesser.
- I don’t see any other cons because this is one of the best curlers out there right now

If you didn’t know it already based on my review so far, Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret is a winner for me on all fronts. The packaging, functionality and the ease of use is everything. If there’s one hair tool you need to buy this year, let it be this. This hair tool scores a perfect Grade A+ on our TJD score card.
