Mascara helps to open up your eyes and trust me, it really does make a difference to your eye makeup. If you don’t believe me, try a eye makeup look on one eye with mascara and one without. You would clearly see the difference 😛

My take on Estee Lauder Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara

Full size comes in a golden tube with blue imprints. Deluxe sizes come in different colors, depending on the promotion scheme from the brand. The wand’s brush is superb and the wand length for this small size is still really workable with any hindrance in application. Gives a perfect look nevertheless, outclassing every other mascara in your stash.

The wand brush has got dense and close bristles to add volume and curl to your beautiful lashes. They perfectly plump even thin lashes, giving a complete new and bold look to your eyes, without any clumping at all. Two coats at most bring in a dramatic look, driving all attention to your eyes. I would say superb performance. The mascara adds full volume to lashes. It is completely light weight and doesn’t sting eyes. Even after hours and hours of wear, there is no flaking or drop in the curl.

The claims of light weight volume and curl are surely true, as it adds a bit of length and naturally beautiful curl to lift even limp lashes. The consistency is perfect; neither thick to be difficult to work with nor fluidly to create a mess around. The mascara is available in two shades, black and brown. I am a proud owner of the black one, which is a jet black color. One coat adds volume and a bit of length and the second coat gives visible uplift and curl to lashes. There are no dropping flakes around and no fear to end up with clumped lashes. Just be sure to apply the second coat instantly after the first one and you will never have a shabby look. The tip in the wand brush design is really useful to reach the inner corner lashes, thus completing the look. The mascara isn’t completely water-proof but I am more than happy with the Estee Lauder Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara and can never think of anything else now. 😀
