I hope everyone is in the pink of health and life is faring well on everyone’s part. I have been somewhat irregular in writing but I will try to be regular. I have a product to review today;Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Clear 2-in-1 Fortifying Shampoo+Conditioner. Let’s move on to find out how this one fared.

My take on Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Clear 2-in-1 Fortifying Shampoo+Conditioner

As we all know that Garnier is a subsidiary company of L’Oreal Paris, so I always have some expectations from their products. Since Garnier stuff suits my hair and skin, I always end up picking something from their range. Speaking of the packaging, it displays atmospheric friendly image with green color transparent bottle and white cap. Looks overall attractive indeed but the bottle might crack if it falls from a height. If you intend to carry it around, ensure proper sealing of the flip open cap to prevent spillage/leakage.

They claim that the bottle material contains recycled material and request to recycle it too. Coming to the shampoo, the consistency is like liquid gel. The moment I poured the transparent solution in my hands, I was amazed because I have never washed my hair with such gel-like-liquid ever before. I was expecting it to lather poor being a fortifying shampoo+conditioner, but it didn’t! The regular amount required for my hair as any other shampoo lathered decent and rinsed off easily. It definitely cleans my hair and scalp without depleting natural oils from them. How did I know this? Because after the wash, my hair don’t feel rough as they do with strong shampoo and my hair get oily after 24 hours. I have a really oily scalp so I have to grab a shampoo frequently 🙁

It has a biodegradable formula, which means it contains natural ingredients and Acerola Berry Antioxidants (Acerola Berry is a tropical fruit with significant health benefits). Believing the claims, it definitely gives you a refreshed hair bunch without weighing them down. When you have oiled your hair, you will need generous amount of the product or go for an extra round of shampoo to rinse off oil from your hair. It cleans residue from my hair and I was having terrible hair fall these days, which somewhat lessened after this shampoo made a place in my vanity. It makes my hair easily detangled even without a conditioner. Since I have really dry and damaged hair, they look dull; so I don’t see any extra shine after the wash. Remember, the packaging says this is for normal hair but still I picked this up because I wanted something mild, free from Parabens and this fits my requirement. The shampoo is free form silicones, Parabens and dyes. Though this is not a Rapunzel’s choice with magic potions, it is indeed a great pick for everyday use if you have Normal hair type. It has a pleasant fragrance that reminds me of natural plants and herbs.

• Doesn’t add extra shine to dull hair.
• Need to use twice when an essential oil has been applied.
• Very oily scalp people might dislike this.

The Jeromy Diaries Verdict

Instead of the fact that this is not for my dry & dull hair, I will repurchase this as I really like the fact it is Parabens free. If you are blessed with healthy hair, nothing is better than this and if you get it for around the same price I did, it is really a good deal.
