What a warm welcome to Iceland on our flight 🥰 starting Iceland content 🇮🇸

✈️ Would you believe it if I said I got the Iceland tickets for $330 round trip (inclusive of taxes)? 🤭

💯 It’s true. Iceland can be expensive for accommodation & food so I’m happy I got to save some money on flight tickets 💸

✅ Also to everyone who thinks you need to go only between September - March for northern lights, nope. 🙅🏻‍♀️ You will still get to see the Northern lights until mid-April so plan a trip during this time to save on flight tickets 🎫

🌌 April is shoulder season because it’s early spring - so it’s a mix of all seasons but if your aim is to see northern lights, plan end of March and return for mid April so that you get to see it ✨

✈️ I booked @playairlines from Hamilton, Ontario to Keflavík, Iceland. #notsponsored just honest review based on my experience. The flight was comfortable, the staff were really nice. It’s an Icelandic budget airlines so food is served if you order and pay but all I cared about is more leg space and wider seats with recliners (for a budget airlines, that’s really good)

tips to spot northern lights in Toronto today 🇨🇦👇🏼

I saw it yesterday so I’d like to share some tips on how to spot it. Let’s not be delulu. You can’t see it in the city with all those lights. But the area marked in red in the video is where there is possibility of northern lights - which covers almost whole of Canada 🇨🇦 tips below on spotting Aurora 👇🏼

✨ you need to get away from the city lights / cloudy skies

✨ take a long drive (1 / 1.5 hr from Toronto) to smaller cities. I live in Paris, Ontario and we could see it yesterday 🥰 I’ll be Aurora hunting tonight as well 😍

✨ look for dark skies and point your phone towards the sky because that’s how you can initially spot the aurora. Aurora borealis starts out really faint so you won’t be initially be able to see the Aurora with naked eyes. 👀

✨ But auroras get stronger throughout the night for you to be able to see it with naked eyes as well 🫶🥹 you can see it dance and it’s the most beautiful feeling ever 🥰
