October Fab Bag 2014 Review

Hi everyone 🙂

How are you all? I’m pretty excited about the next few days ♥ I can actually say loads of happiness lined up 🙂 I shall update you all on the same!

Ever since Fab Bag unveiled it’s October bag, I was excited like how a 5 year old is with chocolates! So I FINALLY got my hands on the October Fab Bag 2014. 😛 It did come in late this time but I won’t complain. It was worth the wait! 😀

For people who don’t know about Fab Bag, here is a small introduction 🙂

Fab Bag (previously known as Velvette Box) is a beauty box where in you will be sent a box full of samples or full size makeup/beauty products to try every month. You can subscribe on a monthly, quarterly, half yearly or a full year basis. The box costs Rs.599 per month but with longer subscriptions, you get better deals 🙂 Soooo… they send a gorgeous bag full of samples from deluxe cosmetics and beauty products from top global brands! Sounds nice right?

Fab Bags are available  both for men and for women at www.fabbag.com ! What? Men do need to groom themselves, you know 😛 All you have to do is answer a simple questionnaire when you register for the first time.(This is an important step because the products you get depend solely on this questionnaire)

Anyhoo, this October Fab Bag was a Diwali edition and for a change, October Fab Bag came up with two colors for it’s bag ie a silver and a blue glitter bag. I was just hoping mine would be a blue one because I already have many silver sparkly bags around. Aaaaaand blue it was 😉

So now the un-boxing!

And now to the goodies I received this month 🙂

1)Just Herbs 6 Step Organic Skin Care Kit

Just Herbs is a ayurvedic skin care brand. The fact that it is free of chemicals makes me super happy!

Price: Rs.595/- for 1 kit

These come in Kit #1 which is for oily/combination skin and Kit #2 for normal/dry skin. I received a full size sample of Kit #1 which is perfect for my skin type.

I always wanted to try Just Herbs but was a little skeptical and this one came in at the right time. 😀 These are what I received in this kit.

• Silksplash Neem Orange Rehydrant Face Wash(Daily use)

I have heard really good reviews about this one, let’s see how it works 🙂 The consistency is neither thick nor runny and smells  like chandan(sandalwood)

•   Livelyclean Honey Exfoliating Face Cleansing Gel(twice a week)

This has neem and tulsi extracts and the consistency is definitely runny, exactly how a cleansing gel would be 😛

• Fagel Instant Glow All-purpose Beauty Gel(daily use)

This beauty gel has madder root and basil contents in it and smells divine! I loooove the fragrance. I can’t quite define it but it’s uhhmaaazing is all I can say. 😀  It has gel like consistency.

• Fairever Milky White Protein Fairness Pack(twice a week)

This pack contains mulethi, milk and honey. Consistency is pretty thick and looks like our good old multani mitti(Fuller’s Earth)

• No Sun Jojoba WheatGerm Sun Protection Gel(daily use)

No skin care is complete without a sun protection cream or gel. This one has gel like consistency too. 🙂

• Fair’e Mulethi Khus Skin Lightening Gel(use daily at night)

This contains mulethi and khus. The consistency is gel like again.

And that’s the 6 steps to perfect skin is what Just Herbs says. To actually say if it worked or not, I will need some time to review them and see it’s results. I will update another post on that after awhile. 🙂

2)The Nature’s Co Corn Exfoliating Face Pack

Price: Rs.1795/- for full size.

I got a full size sample of this one too.

3)SeaSoul HD Finish CC Cream with SPF 20

Price: Rs.650/- for full size.

I got a full size sample of this one in the shade Light. 🙂 This month Fab Bag launched SeaSoul. I had never heard about this brand but Fab Bag always has something new to offer, doesn’t it? 😀 SeaSoul says it is a paraben-free, cruelty-free and eco-friendly brand.  Most of them got a full size product of this CC cream.

For people who are unaware about what a CC cream is- It is a Colour Correcting Cream that reduces the appearance of redness or sallowness, moisturizes the skin and protects it from UV rays. This SeaSoul CC Cream contains Dead Sea Minerals, Moroccan Argan and Goji Berries for hydration and oil control.

So I just summed up all the products that I got in this month’s Fab Bag and it came up to Rs. 3040/- But I got this entire bag for Rs.599/- 🙂

On the whole, I am very happy with this month’s bag.

Fab Bag definitely knows how to make their customers happy ♥
