Helloooo 🙂
How is your week coming along? I know…I know, those mid-week rants. But I say, grab a cup of coffee ( or lemon tea, always a better option 😉 ) and sit down to read this post now because I might just make one of your weekend plans if you are in Bangalore 😛
So as they title already says, I’m sure you guys have seen various updates about Phoenix Market City Bangalore recently on my social media handles. Before I divulge more details on that, first let me talk about my never-ending love for this place. Phoenix Market City Bangalore is one place I can never get bored of. I can’t actually remember the number of times I’ve been to this place 😀 Honestly! I’m sure Mr.Jeromy and my friends reading this post must be grinning from ear to ear and nodding their head in agreement! If there is a plan for a casual lunch with friends, the only place I recommend almost 97% of the time is this place. The reason being, I have been to many malls but none makes me feel comfortable the way Phoenix Market City Bangalore does. Yes, it’s not my house so how and why do I mean by comfortable? When I say comfortable, I mean in a way where everything I need is just under one roof. 🙂 Let me share something out of my personal experience, there are times I go to a mall and struggle to find brands that I usually look out for. I get irate when I don’t find something that I need and waste an entire day in a mall looking for it. But one place where I have been to every weekend literally is Phoenix Market City Bangalore and I don’t think there is any mall that can make me feel so good as that!
Why this feel-good factor? It has all the brands I look for under one roof. Ranging from budget-friendly outlets like Max Fashions , Pantaloons, Reliance Trends to luxury brands like Steve Madden, Zara Men and Women, ALDO, Charles and Keith to name a few. Skincare is not far behind as I can find luxurious brands like Kiehl’s , Forest Essentials as well as budget-friendly outlets like The Body Shop etc. Most of you would know Phoenix Market City Bangalore as a destination for music concerts that happen every now and then. I agree with that but what you also need to know is that it’s huge on fashion as well. To showcase that, Phoenix recently hosted a Fall-Winter event called #101LOOKSatPhoenix
So what is this #101LOOKSatPhoenix all about? Phoenix Market City threw in 101 Fall-Winter looks on 101 mannequins so that all of us could draw some inspiration from them. 😀 Kudos to Phoenix Market City for being so creative! What I absolutely loved about this event is that every mannequin had a style of it’s own trying to stand out from the rest. The mannequins were arranged according to their color family – monochrome on one side and all the other colors on another. There were varied styles for men and women keeping in mind the latest trends.
Here are some of them that I absolutely loved 🙂
This one here is a windowpane print monochrome dress from Marks and Spencer paired with a windowpane bag from ALDO. Although I loved both, I would personally not pair them together. I would rather carry a handbag in a brighter color like orange, yellow or red that would add some contrast. But this look was my favourite of all 101 looks 😀
Street Style was definitely a part of the 101 looks. There were casual outfits on display that one can wear for a casual day out with friends or family. Also, look at how wonderfully this mannequin rocks this denim-on-denim trend 🙂 And the head-scarf styled differently is the icing on the cake for this look!
For guys, there were varied styles. Some of them were casual tees, classic leather jackets or a plain white shirt with denims.
There were a few formal looks on display as well. I love the idea of styling mustard formal trousers with a polka-dotted shirt and a grey blazer. Color Block on-point! 😀
Denims were an integral part of the event with atleast 40% of the mannequins sporting them in varied styles. Distressed denims, white classic shirts and checkered shirts also made it to the list.
Distressed denims is such a hot trend right now that you could spot at least 5 out of 7 people sporting that. They were a part of the #101LOOKSatPhoenix as well.
The mannequins carried accessories that were worth drooling but one of them that I really liked was this backpack from VANS. Just look at that!
This outfit is a part of everyone’s life already. Yes, the classic blue blazer over denims and top. Good for those happy fridays at work 😉
#101LOOKSatPhoenix was not just about denims and keeping that in mind, they had outfits that one could wear for a lunch date as well. Lace shorts have made a huge comeback this season and here’s one in white that is paired with a floral sweatshirt.
One advantage about having to attend such events is meeting like-minded people who love to blog! It’s like you already know them since decades! We talk about styling, shopping and all things under the sun that we all have common interests in and without realizing we make connections that are there to stay 🙂 I met fellow bloggers Nilu Yuleena Thapa and Ashwini KN who I’ve met at various events and also found a new blogger friend in Bhavya 😀
And here’s another look that I loved.
On the whole, I loved visiting Phoenix Market City Bangalore to witness #101LOOKSatPhoenix. There were so many looks put together that this article won’t do enough justice to that. For that, you should go have a look yourself. 🙂
Have fun visiting Phoenix Market City Bangalore – One stop destination for all things fashion!
Until next time,
Ciao. ♥
