How is your week coming along? Mine started on a hectic note. I need my weekend back again 🙁 All I have been doing this week is travelling back and forth with some document work. 😐

Anyhoo, today I will be reviewing a shower gel that Amina suggested me to try 🙂 It is Palmolive Thermal Spa Skin Renewal Shower Gel. If it worked for me or not, read on to find out… 🙂

My take on Palmolive Thermal Spa Skin Renewal Shower Gel

Packaging: Palmolive Thermal Spa Skin Renewal shower gel comes in a very feminine shaped bottle that is see-through. The cap is flip-to-open mechanism and shuts tight with no leakage. I have carried this during trips and haven’t had any issues. But for safety, I do make sure I wrap it with a polythene bag in case it does leak. I have major OCD issues 😛 I like the packaging on the whole.

Texture: The texture is like butter! It’s thick and feels rich. I use 2 to 3 drops of this and it foams really well. And the fragrance! OMG! I have no words to describe it. The main reason I actually picked this up was for its fragrance. It smells exotic! The shower gel has coconut extracts in it and I am someone who hates coconut fragrance be it in soaps, shower gels or chocolates 😛 But I promise you, you will LOVE how this smells even if you hate coconut fragrance. Mainly because more than coconut this smells heavily of Jojoba butter. 🙂 LOOOOOOVE! ♥ The fragrance lingers for 2 hours maximum after shower. And your bathroom would smell of this shower gel each time you enter 😀

Results: Okay, let me first tell you what my idea of a perfect shower gel is. I love shower gels that lather well, provide ample amount of moisturization , don’t dry out my skin, help in exfoliation,smells amazing and lasts for atleast 2 months 😛 Too much to ask for? Well, Palmolive Thermal Spa Skin Renewal Shower Gel does everything I listed! And that too for Rs.145 😀 Can’t believe much?

I have used it for 2 months now so here’s the results. Firstly, it lathers really well! 2 to 3 drops on the loofah and some water does the job! Next, when I use this shower gel – I skip moisturizing! It is super moisturizing ♥ Even during winters 😉  I repeat… Bangalore winters 😛 People in North India or anyone from the West, please think I never said anything about skipping your moisturizer just now 😛

It hasn’t dried out my skin till date! Fragrance…I think I have spoken enough about that 😛 And exfoliation – this shower gel has coconuts extracts that help in exfoliation to a great extent! It’s not too harsh and works like a scrub on your body. I did suffer from rashes once in awhile before when I used soaps but now since 2 months of Palmolive Thermal Spa Skin Renewal shower gel, not a single one 😀 Also, I bought this one in the first week of December 2014 and now its already been 2 months and it’s still half full 😀
